New Equipment
As most of our members know, we were so busy last weekend with newcomers that we found ourselves struggling to find enough equipment for everyone.

Well, today we've finally managed to sort out the order for the new club bows, and we should have a few of them for next week's shoot hopefully! There are some especially nice new flatbows for the kids, and new arrows & targets should be here within a couple of weeks too.

We will also be organising a competition for existing members at some point in the near future, and have a great prize for the winner courtesy of Dave & Carol from Butsfield who may be along to join us indoors next week if the weather remains poor.

Happy New Year
Best wishes to all our members (especially those who give us a helping hand!) and those supporting our club for the new year.

We are all thankful for the kind support of James Trainer, the centre manager at Clegwell, and to all the staff at the centre.

We would also like to thank Hebburn Council (and in particular councillor Nancy Maxwell), Sgt Bede McCabe and Youthoria, and Awards for All for their support and donations over the past year.

Happy New Year everyone!

Finally we're famous
The article on our club appeared in the Shield's Gazette on the 18th with some fearsome looking pictures of me in my Santa hat.

Awards for All grant recieved!
Awards for All
Over 6 months of trying and finally perseverance has paid off! The National Lottery Awards for All grants scheme has awarded us £7822 in response to the submission made by Susan, Keith and Patrick earlier this year.

There is a bit of red tape attached, but this means that we can kick the new year off with some great new equipment for everybody!

So, a great thanks to those at Awards for All and spread the word about their support for our group!
