Christmas shoot
Our Christmas shoot for members will take place next Sunday (the 20th) and there will be some trophies and medals up for grabs in addition to the usual Christmas prizes we have for everyone. Handicaps for the scoring competition will be as follows:
LB (Longbow) - /1.00
AFB (American Flat Bow) - /1.12
HT (Hunting Tackle) - /1.14
BB (Bare Bow) - /1.27
For anyone unsure about which class their bows fall into, here is a quick guide:
LB - Traditional English longbow (no 'long' flatbows!), wooden arrows, no sights or release aids.
AFB - Any flatbow, wooden arrows, no sights or release aids.
HT - Any bow, wooden arrows, no sights, no release aids, no stabilisers.
BB - Any bow, any arrows, no sights, no release aids, 1 stabiliser allowed.
There should be an opportunity to practice the competition setup on Saturday. Good luck!
NB - you must have your arrows numbered so we know what order they were shot in. You won't be able to take part with unmarked arrows.

Opening times
Because of the problems we've had recently after setting up on a Friday evening we will be setting the targets up on Saturday morning instead.
The Saturday opening time for the club will therefore change to 10am to give us time to set up, although if anyone gets there early and wishes to lend a hand then it will be greatly appreciated.
This is a permanent change.
Thanks!
